I have a curse. I have a gift. I'm a monster. I'm more than human. My touch is lethal. My touch is power. I am their weapon. I will fight back. No one knows why Juliette's touch is fatal, but The Reestablishment has plans for her. Plans to use her as a weapon. But Juliette has plans of her own. After a lifetime without freedom, she's finally discovering a strength to fight back for the very first time—and to find a future with the one boy she thought she'd lost forever. In this electrifying debut, Tahereh Mafi presents a riveting dystopian world, a thrilling superhero story, and an unforgettable heroine.

It was ok. Wasn't as good as the first time I read it, though I was obsessed with romance back then. Book has way too many metaphors which makes the writing kind of suck. Metaphors are fine as long as they aren't every single sentence.

This book was incredible. After finishing the series I was forever changed. The series broke my heart and crushed my soul but I loved it so much it was worth every heartbreak.

This book is so bad. It is only for the readers who like weak female protagonists falling in love with the bad or good guy and has a love triangle. I just read half of the first book and was so bored. people who read this haven't read Rick Riordan, Cassandra Clare, JK rowling and Sarah j maas. If u haven't read their books first cause it is spectacular.

You really should have read the rest of the first book and the next two because as Juliette progresses through the story she grows a lot from the broken girl she was at the beginning of book one. Yes, she appeared weak, but she was also abused and locked away until the age of seventeen. After she is freed she works through her trauma to reach her full potential. However, Rick Riordan and Sarah J. Mass are great authors.

The book was mind 'Shattering' . This book was my first fantasy read and it didn’t let me down. Tahereh Mafi is one of my favourite authors now. The whole series was filled action romance betrayal and daddy issues and good looking bad boys. And my favourite character was kenji , he makes me wish I had a friend like him. Though Juliette/Ella has lots of metaphors it was still good. Overall it is so worth reading ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Literally one of the best books I've ever read! Even after I finished the series I couldn't stop coming back and reading it all over again, it was that gripping! I love how Juliette progresses through the story, going from a weak, shy girl to a strong and independent woman. And I have read Rick Riordan, Sarah J. Maas, Rick Riordan and Cassandra Clare, and this book is definitely worth sitting next to them on the bookshelf!
